ToggleDeck is a Stream Deck plugin for Microsoft Teams on macOS and Windows (Arm64 & x64). A small helper app keeps your physical meeting controls in sync with Teams, even in the background.
Built after Microsoft deprecated the Teams device API used by the original Elgato-owned Stream Deck plugin, ToggleDeck restores physical Teams controls with an independent helper app.
Is ToggleDeck a Microsoft Teams Stream Deck plugin?
Yes. ToggleDeck is a Stream Deck plugin for Microsoft Teams on macOS and Windows (Arm64 & x64). It gives Teams meetings physical keys for microphone, camera, hand, reactions and leaving, with live meeting state shown on the keys.
Why did the original Elgato Stream Deck Teams plugin stop working?
The original Elgato-owned Stream Deck plugin for Microsoft Teams relied on Microsoft's Teams device API. That API has been deprecated, so the plugin no longer works. ToggleDeck was built to solve that problem with its own small helper app.
Is ToggleDeck an alternative to the discontinued Elgato Teams plugin?
Yes. ToggleDeck is an independent Stream Deck plugin for Microsoft Teams that restores physical mute, camera, hand, reaction and leave controls after the Teams device API deprecation. It supports macOS and Windows (Arm64 & x64). ToggleDeck is not affiliated with Elgato or Microsoft.
What can I control in Microsoft Teams with Stream Deck?
ToggleDeck lets you mute and unmute your microphone, switch your camera on and off, raise and lower your hand, send reactions, and leave a meeting. The five reactions are Like, Love, Applause, Laugh and Surprised. The keys reflect your live meeting state.
What do I need to use ToggleDeck?
You need macOS 14 or later, or Windows on an Arm64 or x64 device, plus a Stream Deck, Microsoft Teams, the ToggleDeck plugin and the ToggleDeck helper app. Stream Deck hardware is required and is not included in the subscription.
Can I control Teams while it is in the background?
Yes. The ToggleDeck helper talks directly to Microsoft Teams, so the meeting window does not need focus. It works in meetings and 1:1 calls, including compact view. Changes in Teams update the keys, and key presses update Teams.
Why does ToggleDeck need a helper app?
The small helper app connects the Stream Deck plugin to Microsoft Teams and pushes meeting state to the keys. ToggleDeck does not use polling or require Accessibility permission.
How much does the Stream Deck Teams plugin cost?
ToggleDeck costs £10 per year. One subscription covers up to three machines, all five meeting-control categories and every update.
Is this demo connected to my Teams account?
No. The interactive demonstration on this website is a simulation, not a connection to your Teams account. ToggleDeck is not affiliated with Microsoft or Elgato.
